What we check, what we flag, what we never ask for, and what happens when you report someone.
A person checks it’s really them
To get verified, you are given a pose at random and five minutes to send a selfie doing it. Someone on our team compares it with your photos, then the selfie is deleted.
Every report is read
Report or block anyone from their profile or your chat. A moderator reads every report, and every new photo is seen by a person.
Scam patterns are flagged
Messages are checked for the lines romance scammers use, such as sudden money requests. You see a warning, and a moderator sees the flag.
Nobody can find your house
Others see roughly how far away you are, never where. Your location is rounded on your phone and the distance is worked out on our servers.
What we don’t do. We never ask for your ID card or passport. We don’t promise round-the-clock protection, because nobody can honestly offer it. We do promise that a person reads what you report.
We don’t just ask, “Who do you find attractive?”
