Child Safety Standards
Kingdom Pair is for adults only, and it takes one position on the sexual abuse or exploitation of children: it is not tolerated in any form, it is removed the moment it is found, and it is reported to the authorities. This page sets out what that means in practice.
Nobody under eighteen
Kingdom Pair is for adults aged eighteen and over. Every member gives a date of birth when they sign up, and the age check is enforced by our database itself — an account with a date of birth under eighteen years ago cannot be created or saved, whatever the app is told.
A member found to be under eighteen is removed, and anybody who knowingly helped them join is removed with them.
Google Play lists the app as suitable for adults only, and the content rating reflects that.
What is prohibited
Any sexual content involving a minor, real or depicted. Any attempt to solicit, groom, coerce or exploit a minor. Any request for, sharing of, or link to such material. Any account presenting a minor, or pretending to be one.
This applies to profiles, photographs, messages, prayer requests and anything else a member can put into the app. There is no context in which it is allowed.
How to report it
Every profile and every conversation has a Report option. "Underage" is one of the reasons offered, and choosing it puts the report at the front of the queue.
Reports are read by a person, not filtered by software. A report about a child is treated as urgent and acted on before anything else.
You can also write to support@kingdompair.app with the subject line “Child safety”. You do not need an account to do so, and you do not need to be certain — tell us what you saw and we will look.
What we do when we find it
The account is suspended immediately, before any review is finished. Its content is removed from every other member’s view.
The material and the account records are preserved rather than deleted, so that they can be handed to the authorities intact.
We report it to the relevant law enforcement authorities — in Nigeria, the Nigeria Police Force and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons — and to any other authority or hotline whose jurisdiction applies. We cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
The person who made the report is not named to the person reported.
How the app is built to prevent it
Photographs are reviewed after upload by a person, and a photograph reported by two separate members is withheld from everyone until it has been looked at.
Messages are automatically checked for patterns of coercion, solicitation and financial exploitation, and flagged messages are queued for a moderator.
Exact locations never leave our servers. Members see a distance in kilometres, never a place, and anything under two kilometres is reported as two.
Members can block anybody at any time, without explanation, and a blocked person cannot see them or contact them again.
The law
We comply with the laws that protect children wherever the app is used, including Nigeria’s Child Rights Act 2003, the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, and the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act 2015, and with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.
Where the law of another country applies to a member, we comply with that too.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police before contacting us.
